The Claremont Main Road Mosque calls on gang leaders and members to stop their senseless war which is maiming innocent children and adults. It is disingenuous and cowardly for gang leaders to claim that the shooting of innocent children is beyond their control. They have to take full responsibility for all of the negative consequences of their mindless wars.

The most recent shootings of innocent children once again underscore the urgent need for responsible citizens of the City of Cape Town to take a firm and united stand against the scourge of gang violence. We call on all the citizens of the city of Cape Town to rally together to help put an end to this mayhem that is tormenting our communities.
