On Saturday, the 11 December, 2010, the CMRM Saturday Morning Madrasah held its annual Graduation. This year it took place at Alexander Sinton High School in Athlone.
The presentation started with a word of welcome by the madrasah administrator, Fahmi Gamieldien at 9:40am. Two students, M. Zuhair Khan and Shiefaa Hendricks both opened the ceremonies with recitations from the Glorious Quran. This was followed by Mualim Ismail Osman who read the opening du`ah.
Fahmi Gamieldien was the MC for session one of the ceremonies. In this round certificates were handed out to all the students in the Foundation phase (grades 1-3) and to students in the Intermediate, Senior and FET phases (grade 4-11) that stood out in the following categories:

The second part was dedicated to Muallim Ismail Osman (Boeta Maailie). Boeta Maailie announced his retirement this year and at the graduation he was honoured and sent off in a manner befitting of his role at the Mosque and Madrassa. The principal, Shafiek Abrahams read out a tribute to Muallim Ismail Osman . After his honouring he was awarded a gift on behalf of the Madrasah and wished well for the future. Good Luck Muallim!
Imam Rashied Omar then gave a small bit of advice for the students and parents for the vacation season. He encouraged parents to visit the CMRM website and appealed to all to keep safe and keep on reading the Quran. He concluded with a du`ah for the holidays and New Lunar Year of 1432.
The fourth and final session tied up the ceremony beautifully. The principal, Shafiek Abrahams, gave the Vote of Thanks to all the parents, academic staff, admin staff, caretakers, catering staff and all those who helped during the year at the Mosque and Madrassa.
